Crossing the Tasman Sea: Caught Up!!

WHEE!  Finally, the blog is finally up to date!  YEAH!  No promises on keeping it current, but we'll certainly try!
We've certainly enjoyed our three days at sea and are now looking forward to Hobart, Tasmania.  We don't have an excursion planned so probably will just get off the boat and wander into town.

Below are a few pics from the crossing.
From our in room TV, we can see where we've been, where we are and where we're going.  This "leg" of our trip is the one from Auckland to Sydney, thus the current map doesn't show points beyond.

A beautiful double rainbow one late afternoon.  We hoped, for the sake of our traveling companions who are subject to sea-sickness it was the harbinger of smoother waters.  Unfortunately, it didn't happen that way.  The Tasman Sea is known for having rough waters and it certainly lived up to its reputation!

We were fortunate to see a couple of whales "cruising" by!

That's it for now!
